Smart Cities, the greatest HOAX of NaMo Government

The delirium of the NaMO government has not yet settled and now the whole mob is ready to climb the ladder of chaos building rungs of inattention(ly) blind digital morons dwelling in the love of social media. Jet propelling the blindness of the digital morons, the NaMo government has now taken the acceleration to the maximum throttle in the name of Smart Cities.

Previously the word was that few places in the states would be turned to be smart cities and one among them was Ponneri, Tamil Nadu. And I believe the news was a year old and I guess the project must have been put to shelves for some reason, which is very obvious with the Indian government. Now time for the big act, 100 smart cities to be built that can make life easier and people dumb.

Apart from taking forward the country towards digitalization, the NaMo government is marking its presence notably great and there is no doubt about it but where is it leading the whole nation? It took years of distress to complete the Chennai Metro and as of now only one has been launched and there is no assurance how long will it take to complete the whole project. Now the 100 smart cities, seems to be the greatest hoax which would take utmost a century to complete the project.

Who would be living to see the smart cities? Will the next government take forward the project, as it is always the obvious that the new government puts the former’s project to shelves and this is very evident for decades and scores? The large sum of people’s money spent on these uncertain projects are going to be wasted like pile of garbage on the roads. If they are going to be spend for nothing, why would the government make such amendments to the ever going blind democratic people?

I personally am not juxtapositioning the age of digitization, but the take the government is putting on stake is rather risky than beneficial. Welcoming new ideas and strategies have always been my cup of tea and appreciating them is what I would be doing but I would never want my cup of tea to be taken after it has gone cold and there is no point in reheating the tea over the years.

If the projects are to be completed within the tentative dates, I would welcome that with the red carpet but the greatest strategy any politically business minded individual would do is to shut the questioning the mouths with one or two smart cities and prolong the projects for ages that people forget to question. May be one or two questions for now and then in the dailies.

Reckoning the milieu and the fact sheets, the official site of the Smart Cities http://smartcities.gov.in/ has pages that are still under construction and which government would be in such a hurry to launch a website that has not been completed in full. When the site is not completed, how would they expect the projects to be completed within the tentative date?

I completely visualize the smart cities has the greatest hoax of all times that any government would have carried.
